Atrazine and Switchgrass

I planted some Cave-in-the-Rock Switchgrass and need to spray Atrazine. Can anyone tell me application details like how much per acre, is there a certain kind/number of Atrazine to use? Thanks

Atrazine is a Restricted use pesticide so you would need some sort of applicator license to buy and apply, i.e. private or commercial. At least if you were going to go by the book...

Certain areas have different restriction on amounts of atrazine that you can apply per acre. I believe most townships in my area are 1.5 pounds per acre or looking at it in terms of liquid that would equate to 1.5 qts of a 4L atrazine.

Atrazine needs to be sprayed in early spring dont spray now the growing season is done you will be wasting you money, spray April 1 at 4lbs an acre. Did you spray this april. ?
