A friend of mine makes custom carved powder horns and does it extremely well.:way: World Class, period and historically correct.
Thought I'd share a photo of a recent one he just completed.

Beautiful horn, great detail in the scrimshaw turkey, your friend does good work.

Those custom horns are pricy, I paid thru the nose for my <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com

</st1:City>Buffalo horn and it is certainly nothing fancy.
