Batteries for Trail Cam's

Just wondering what you guy's use for batteries in your trail cam's? I have tried energizer and have not had good luck with them. I switched to Duracell and they last and 4-5 times longer.

Also, has anyone tried the industrial series batteries from interstate, duracell (Procell), or panasonic? They seem to be a little less expensive however it may be "you get what you pay for".

I use rechargeable batteries, two different brands and they perform equally compared to each other but 10 times better than any alkaline one time use disposable battery that I have tried.

I thought that I had heard that rechargeable's were not recommended?

Energizer NiMH rechargeable D cells didn't work worth a crap in my Moultrie D40 (wouldn't last a week, where as I get a month out of "disposable" batteries), but in my homebrews I use AA NiMH rechargeables (Energizers and Duracell) with decent success.

You get what you pay for is right on the money.

If Im using new batteriers I use Duracel.
I bought 12 Engergizer Rechargables for my cams, and have good luck so far. Not real cold yet. I have to older Cuddebacks that are great on batteries. I can get about 3-4weeks out of them. I changes my cameras around about every 2weeks so I change mem. cards, and batterys.

The cams only show the battery level to be at 3/4 with the regarchables.
