Bobcat sightings?

My wife and I saw a Bobcat in Taylor County in the early fall of 2001. It was less than 35 yards from us for approximately 4-5 minutes before it disappeared into the underbrush.

My 23 year old son observed a Bobcat for several minutes here in Page County just north of the M0 border this summer.

A friend of mine in Adams County caught a Bobcat in a 220 conabear trap in I believe the fall of 2000. He showed me the cat shortly after he caought it, he then turned it into the DNR and they sent it to the taxidermist. It was, or maybe still is on display in the Adams County Court House.

Seen a nice cat just east of my house a couple of weeks ago. He/She had a nice white patch on its throat...

FYI:

There are bobcats in Lucas county and all across southern Iowa and also northern Missouri.

I've seen a number of them in the past 3 years.
