I bought some bug repellant that smells like earth that didn't seem to have an effect on the deer since I've seen deer by me when I've been wearing it. But I'm always nervous using anything other than a scent eliminator.

For a couple of years now I have been using Scent Shield No stinkin bugs Earth scent. It comes in a red can and smells like dirt! IMO opinion it works awesome. I wear it whenever I am out in the bugs. I will go to a fire with friends and everyone has there own bug spray and gets eaten up and I rarely get bitten! I have had many deer close and it has not effected them. Look it up, it is the best IMO, and we have sold a ton of it out of Double A

I am kinda surprised at the poll results so far. I guess the chiggers ain't as bad up in Iowa as they are here. I will not step one foot in the woods without the bug spray.
