Cabin Rentals This Summer

Hey guys, looking to go to a cabin for a week this July, would be open to Minnesota, Wisconsin, Canada. There is going to be 4 of us and my lab. Looking for good fishing, nice cabin for the women lol, and somewhat close to a town 10 miles or so would be nice for an emergency run or something.

If I were you I would look in the Brainerd Minnesota area. Nisswa in particular is perfect as there are hundreds of great lakes including Gull Lake which is multi-Species.

Good bars and restaurants and a mecca of tiny shops for the women to spend time shopping while you are fishing!!

We have a cabin in that area and it works out perfect :D

Was just up to Brainerd this past summer for a few days. Pretty area. We stayed at a resort right on Gull Lake.
 
My gal likes to fish, and even outfishes me, so we didn't need any shopping! Other than maybe to not pay the ridiculous prices in the gift shop! But, we spent some money there too to help out the economy. :D

Now if only I could convince her that hunting is WAY better than fishing! No offense to the anglers out there.
 
We spent a week at Timber Trails Resort last July and really enjoyed it. We pulled our camper up then rented a pontoon, but the cabins seem very nice. Walker, MN and Leach Lake are nearby and a good day trip when the wind made the lake too rough. We may return next year.

You will find many resorts will not allow dogs, or charge a fairly hefty fee if you bring them along.

I am hoping you get more responses to this thread as I am always interested in what else is out there.
