Sorry for the off-topic post. If any of you have some ideas of where to look or could offer any useful info of your own it would be greatly appreciated:

We are developing a mock business plan of, well, a mock business. The business is a hunting and fishing outfitter. We hit a dead end in our research in conducting our market and financial analysis since their are few publically traded companies in this niche industry offering financial statements for viewing as with larger companies.

I know its a tough one, but if any of you have any ideas or info just reply or send me an email.

Thanks again,
And good shed hunting to you

ok,
real life business opp.Indians in sask approach me or you to buy out existing outfitting business.2500 acres of land/lodge and past business revenue from clients was like 80k.Thats 40 hunters a year at 2000 a hunt. You have expenses of guides/food gas and vehicles..or your operating costs.
now this business has been run the wrong way and still profits 50k a year..mumm mr banker is now listening.
with some working capital you can lease another 5000 acres at 12k a year. This land borders crown land that you can hunt for free. Now you can take another say 30 hunters on this tract at a 30k profit.Remember to tell him that the business was run like crap and you will clean it up.this will increase revenue and your profits will be higher...it can snoball from there.
or get lucky and have someone burn down your girlfriends business competators building. And the next day yoiur business net worth goes up by 200k...just happened to us in maryland.
