Cordless Drill Auger SUCCESS!

Had my dad rig one of these up back home and he just called to tell me he'll drill my holes for a buck a piece this weekend.
He rigged an adapter with a piece of 1/2" conduit and some other stuff and used a 6" auger and an 18v Dewalt. He said there's about 16" of ice on our pond and it took 5-6secs to get through it. Doesn't lug the drill at all. He's gonna try an 8" auger next since the 6" worked so easy.

Sweet. Im gonna do this for sure next year. Tired of hand drilling with my 6 inch auger. We dont get nearly as much ice this way. Most is 12-14 inches. So it should be pretty handy
