Corydon Lake

Gotta go to a factory called Shivvers in Corydon, Iowa for a few days this next week. I guess theres a Lake outside of town. Anyone know if its good fishing? Any suggestions on what to fish for?

The lake just to the west of Corydon is one of the more disgusting lakes I've ever sampled on.

BUT, it has some of the biggest rich mans carp I've ever seen.

Rich man's carp? What?

How about green carp?

No?

Well there wasnt any rooms at the Nodyroc in Corydon so were staying in Chariton. Looked at a map and found Lake Ellis, Lake Morris, and Lake Red Haw. Couldnt find much info about them on here so were gonna go try to mess around and catch a catfish tonight. Good timekiller on the road anyways. Too bad it wasnt a little warmer id make the drive back to Corydon and throw some top water baits at that lake. Maybe hook into a big bucketmouth.

I haven't fished Red Haw in years, but I know a few years back they drained it and did some work. By now it should be pretty good. Have not had a chance to get back there.
