I can't find the thread but several days ago someone had some questions about the DNR definitions on bows and arrows and whether the 20" minimum arrow length pertained to crossbow bolts.
The answer is yes it does. I know that when the definitions were being developed only bows and arrows were being thought of--not crossbows. But in checking at the local archery shop the shortest bolts they sold were 20" and several others were at least a couple of inches longer so it shoudn't be a problem finding 20" bolts to shoot out of a crossbow.
