I have been trying to find the correct anwser and the information that I have found has been incomplete so what better place than here to find out.
If you retrieve your deer and prior to that coyotes get ahold of the animal to the point they have gotten into the gut sack, staps and roasts, can you tag the head and remove it or do you still need to remove the entire body?
We has this happen recently and didn't know what the letter of the law was on wanton waste. We took out the entire animal, rectched smell and all and were forced to dispose of the entire deer.
Completely disgusting!
In a situation like this, can you use your tag and remove the head or do you still have to take the entire animal?
