Drought and effects on bucks?

So far this year in eastern Iowa we have had a very dry year and obviously our crops won't yield as much because of this. Is it reasonable to expect the bucks this year to maybe not be as big because in theory I would think this would be true. What is your thoughts on the effects of droughts and maybe what you have seen in the past?

Won't hurt much this year but the available food for them in late fall and winter may stress the herd to the point of winter kill or even less antler production the following year. If you have a hot food source in the fall, things should be good.

We are going to have plenty of food in the NW corner of the state, looks like the corn crop could go well over 200 bushel this year. So all you guys from the east side of Iowa send those big bucks west to over winter
