Darren called this morning and said he is going to Joe Meder's to pick up his deer tonight. He asked if I wanted to go to the Eastern Iowa Sports Show at the UNI Dome in Cedar Falls this Sunday. What could I say?
On Sunday, there is antler scoring from 10am to 1pm. After seeing all the racks at the Classic, I'm excited to see how his buck tapes out. I cautioned him not to get his hopes too high, but he's got a good attitude. He just wants to know the official score. Here's another field picture of it.
