Food plots in harvest ag fields

Has anyone broadcast radishes or other food plot seed on harvested corn? Many farmers don't want to take part of fields out of production for food plots, but broadcasting some radishes in the corn stubble can benefit the deer, the hunter, and the farmer. They showed it here in this video: http://themanagementadvantage.com/home/bridging-gap-with-food-plots/

The tubers from the radishes break up the soil and put the nutrients back in at the end of the year. The left over plants are sprayed and/or tilled under. Sounds like a great way to open up new area for food plots and requires no equipment to plant. Just timely planting ahead of a rain in a seed bed that prepared for you!
