Good example of a buck with potential at 2-1/2

Below is a buck that we think was 2 years old last year and was passed several times as we recognized some nice potential in him.

Here is a good picture of him from 2013. Notice the slim body and neck relative to older bucks. He has good tine and beam length, but not much mass yet.

Here is a 2014 picture, not the greatest color due to the time of the day that the pic was snapped, but you can see his rack fairly well.

Here's another 2014 shot.

He wasn't done growing in the 2014 pics, but I suspect he will be in the high 150's, low to mid 160's. He is on the "do not shoot" list again this year...for the most part. I know my younger son and I will not shoot him, but if my older son gets some time to hunt this year, I will not restrict him if he wants to shoot him.

I do think he could be a real giant in 2 years though, we'll see how it goes, we'll see how it goes. :D

He's turning into a dandy for sure...love how he's starting to split tines this year.

He actually had one split last year, this year he appears to have two now. Here is another shot of him from last year. I especially like his G3 and beam length.
