How far do you have to be away from a house when bow hunting?
The DNR Regs on page 14 state:
Prohibited Hunting Near Buildings
You cannot discharge a firearm or shoot or attempt to shoot a game or furbearing animal within 200 yards of a building inhabited by people or domestic livestock or a feedlot unless the owner or tenant has given consent to do so.
This looks to be in regards to firearms. Does this cover bow hunting as well? Looks like I need to call a CO, cause I REALLY NEED to hunt a spot which is 100 yards across the fence on private ground (on which I have permission). I'm afraid that getting permission from the home owner is going to face the same chances as the proverbial snowball in the hot place.
