Just wonding what everyone thinks of their hunting styles. I like a stand or to buddy hunt. Seem more one on one to me. Let me know what you think works best.

Take a kid hunting then you won't be hunting the Kid.

Forget yesterday, Enjoy today, Look forward to tomorrow.

For bow hunting I like to sit in a stand. I also have a video camera and really hope to get some hunts on film. I like to sit in the same tree as my favorite hunting partner.

For muzzleloader season I like to hunt with my favorite hunting partner. However we have more luck having one person sit and the other slowly push the area towards him. I like to sit in the stand too, but seems like they don't move as well as during bow season where I hunt.

For bow hunting I like the stand, but for late muzzleloader I love to still hunt while it is snowing or just after a fresh 3"-4" snow. I love sneaking up on them while they are bedded down in the middle of the day.

depends on the season for me also. bowhunting i like to sit on the stand, but while doing so have recently found out that doing it "buddy style" with one guy videoing is the best way to go. passes the time and the experience makes it more worthwhile to me. duing late season i hate to stand hunt since the deer are so hard to predict. i prefer to still hunt with the smokepole and to make it perfect fresh snow makes all the difference!!

Since my brother and I film we are pretty much buddied up. I like to hunt from the ground (witout a blind), a treestand and a ground blind. Funny thing though, I hunt from a stand probably 80% of the time and the ground 20% of the time, but I have killed more deer while hunting on the ground?

I wonder why that is Baby-g, I have the same luck as you. I've only shot 2 deer from treestands, and thats where I spend most of my time. Hmmmm. Deer live on the ground not in trees, maybe i've discovered somthing here.

i WOULD MUCH RATHER BE ALONE IN THE WOODS AND MY TACTICS ARE ALL DIFFERENT 33%OF THE TIME I DO AGGRESSIVE CALLING WHILE STILL HUNTING, 66% OF THE TIME IS SPENT ON STAND AND 1% IS SHOOTING SQUIRRELLS... MAYBE 2%

I like to hunt with a high-powered rifle out of a homemade ground blind. Someday I'll like to try the same thing from a tree stand or a ladder stand.

During gun season I'm in a ground blind, my son and nephews are all in tree stands, we let every one else in the county run the deer to us.

During bow season i hunt from a stand. During shotgun I usualy hunt with 2 or 3 other guys and we sit on ridges while all the guys on state land push them on to private land.
