I read that article already and I think it supports what I have said all along, Iowa NR license fees aren't out of line compared with other states and animals. I don't have a huge problem paying $300 or $400 to get a hunting experience so very different from SE Iowa. The experience can be worth much more than just tagging an animal.

NR sould feel lucky to be able to hunt in Iowa, even if they have to pay a large fee. It has not been too many years ago that NR were not allowed to hunt deer. I will likely be a NR someday but will still fork over the money because I know what Iowa has to offer as far as big bucks. The experiences I have had deer hunting are priceless
