Sorry for the short notice but I just rec'd this today. It is for a Legislative Reception that is held by the Iowa Conservation Alliance every year. It is attend the organizations like IBA, IA Trappes, PF, QF, DU, etc. I've attended before and been able total with many legislators. If you are free please stop by.
ICA LEGISLATIVE RECEPTION—We need you there.
Everyone Come!! Discuss this year’s Conservation issues of importance with Legislators—Permanent Funding for Natural Resources, Non-resident deer and turkey permit issues, the Dove bill, and much much more. Remember—it is an election year………….these folks
JANUARY 31st / 6pm to 8pm, but we expect a few Legislators as early as 5 pm
The Quality Inn and Suites Events Center (same place as last year)
Located between Second Avenue and 3rd Street, just South of and next to I-235 (take the 3rd Street Exit)
Address is: 929 3rd Street
Next to (just Northeast of) Vet’s Auditorium and the New Arena
Please contact your legislators and invite them to the reception—tell them you are going to be there. Hearing from the local folks is very important. We want PF folks from all over the state--legislators like to talk to & see home folks. If you can come, it will make a big impression on them!!
