Jeez Louise...seeing lots of birds lately

I had to go to DM yesterday afternoon and work on a few systems. Driving over there between 1:30 and 2:30 I counted 19 birds within sight of I-80. Coming home last night just before dusk was insane. I quit counting at 25.

To think I drive 20 miles into the sticks and walk another 3/4 mile every turkey opener when I should be hitting up farmers along the interstate!!!

Might not hurt, but keep in mind turkeys are grouped up now for the winter but usually spread out quite a bit when spring comes around. Good luck though - it probably wouldn't hurt any.

I know what you mean about seeing tons of turkeys everday during late muzzle i would see over 200 of those dirty birds out in the fields, if only i could hunt them there, i would be set!!!!
