I shoot a Jennings Buckmaster 2000S. I haven't shot a lot of other bows for comparison and I know that Jennings doesn't get the same press as Mathews or Hoyt, but I feel very confident when I shoot.
I don't know much about your Carbonmaster, but my bow does feel a little heavy when compared to other bows I have picked up. However, given the moniker on yours, it sounds as if weight shouldn't be a problem. Good luck with the new bow.
