Kids, don't try this at home

Not the way it should have been done but it looks like it is going to work out.
Started out disking this last fall, then plowed it and didn't get back to it in time for more fall work. Made a mess of it trying to disk it down when it was too wet (Dbltree tried to warn me), gave it a shot of pel lime a couple months ago, and then I went yesterday and used the ATV with a spike tooth over it while it was still mostly frozen and knocked down the ridges and leveled it out. Frost seeded chicory and it looks like I'll be able to stay in the seat when I mow.

Looks much better. I tried to work on my plots today but they still have 3-4" of snow. Close to fence lines and were pretty drifted. Did plant a little that only had maybe 1" in a few spots otherwise pretty clear. See what happens. If it doesn't grow i'll just have to try out my new disc and cultipacker later.
