give me one 1000 acre block anytime.
get a good safe zone going in the center and feed then around the edge of it.That way the fence sitters will only get a few.I can watch it better and not have to move planting equipment all over the place.If you have the right 1000 acres you can grow great bucks.I know of 2 farms that are hunted and managed..both farms grow 190 inch bucks and they started with almost nothing.
so, if I had a 1000 in iowa or illinois it may take me 3 or 4 years but the wait would be well worth it!
