last day success

a buddy of mine connected on this dandy right before shotgun season was to start. he had a small 8pt and a spike getting ready to spar over a doe, and since neither was very big, willy was going to take the doe, when he looked over his shoulder and saw this guy getting ready to jump[ into the fray. he went into some switch grass, and i got called in to help track him. only getting 3 hours of sleep was worth seeing him.

Sure wish I could have had luck like that on the day before shotgun season. Hopefully after shotgun season things will turn around.
