Used HavocTec off of an acquaintance: $400

Years of anticipation as I am now going to officially be a bowhunter: Not measurable

Your first shot passing through the hay bale and into the siding on the old shed, shattering a brand new carbon arrow and driving you to the fridge for a cold beer: Priceless

These days it takes more than a bale of hay to stop an arrow. Welcome to the sport!!

Bukket: I did the same thing last year, which was my first year. My father-in-law was watching, and he says" I guess we should get some more bales."

After that I bought a Block. (It was also his barn)

I lost the first two arrows I ever shot. Might still be in the grove of trees we were shooting in front of. After that, I handed the bow back to the owner and hung my head in shame as I said sorry.

It was 15 years before I picked up a bow again. Sorry IaArcher.

Bukket this is only the first in a series of silly things this sport will have you doing. I wish you luck. And I hope you enjoy your new target.
