LW Sit & Climb or Hand Climber??

1st off - I already have the alpha hang on and climbing sticks and would not trade it for any other set up out there, but I am curious as to which one of the climbers people prefer. Thanks for advice.

I haven't used either one so keep that in mind. However for the price difference and weight difference I think I would consider the Sit and Climb if it were me.

I have a sit and climb and really like it. Haven't used the hand climber but can't think of a reason it would be a better option.

Hand climber = lighter, less to deal with (no bar and no seat flopping around your knees). For an all day sit go w the sit and climb for comfort. For morning/evening the hand climber is my choice.

HAND CLIMBER IS NICE BUT I COULDN'T TAKE IT ANYMORE. MY BELLY GETS IN THE WAY. YOU NEED TO HAVE YOUR ABS IN SHAPE TO USE IT. I NEED TO GET A SIT AND CLIMB.

You wouldn't want to sell me the Hand Climber real cheap? My son isn't quite ready for one yet but I can see the day where we might be needing two of 'em.

SOLD IT ALREADY TO A FRIEND WHO'S SON IS 15 YRS OLD AND IN GOOD SHAPE.

Thanks for the input guys. I went with the sit & climb. Looks more comfortable to me and I am not all that concerned about the 3 extra pounds. It also didn't hurt that I got it new for the same price as the hand climber. Now, between the Alpha Hang On & the Climber, I don't plan on needing another stand for a long long time.

I like the hand climber, but after using both, talking to TONS of guys about they're preferences, I've got an opinion.

This is just what I've found. Most guys who like the Hand Climber are typically "younger" or in decent shape. Most guys who really like the S&C are either not totally comfortable climbing a tree, and-or want a more comfortable stand. I typically use the Hand Climber for most of my hunts. Occasionally, for a long sit during the rut or something, I'll grab the S&C for a super comfy sit! Either stand is very compact, quiet, and easy to use. You should dig either one!

So what you are saying is that I need to purchase both?
Man what a salesman you are

Let me try and get that one past the one who takes care of all the money

Just buy the S&C and then pick up a HC top and she'll never know. Make sure you get the new cams - great improvement over the old ones.

Great comment Lone Wolf. I had to laugh. I think you got it right.
I am out of shape and old and I love the sit and climb.

Should be receiving a new Alpha and four sticks from Lone Wolf tomorrow so I looking forward the chance to sit in trees w/ limbs again.
