LYON's trail camera thread

I'll start my normal thread to keep some pictures on as the summer slowly moves out and the next season begins.

First up with some crappy pictures is my favorite deer Curly. I should be able to get some better pictures of him as the year rolls along. In the past, he's been about the most photogenic deer I have ever seen. This is now the 5th season I have gotten pictures of him. He still holds basically the same frame that he has for the last few years. He's either 6.5 or 7.5 this year.

Gotta love those brows!

This next buck is making me excited. Last year I got some pictures of what appeared to be a great up and comer. I believe this is him and he definitely added some inches!
This was last year.

I believe this is the same deer. Long brow tines (Curly's offspring??), same split G3.

And here are a few other decent bucks that need some more years.

It will be interesting to see what this guy does in the coming years with the little daggers he has going on around his bases.

I was asked to manage/keep tresspassers off a new piece of ground this year in exchange for hunting rights. I have one camera out there currently and will be getting another one out soon. I'm really looking forward to seeing what it holds for deer. I checked the one camera a couple weeks ago and found an upper 60's shed on the way out, so my hopes are high!

Nice bucks. I agree if that buck with the trash can elude you and everybody else for one more year and not tempt anybody he could be something really special.

I enjoy your pics. Looks like you have a few good years ahead of you.. I'll start my scrape cam and another thread when things start going and I actually get deer buck pics

Had a new guy show up that is worth showing off. I'm torn if I have pics of him last year or not. Not that it really matters, but it's always fun to get other's opinions. So, look at the 6 point (from last year) in these pictures.

Could this be him this year? The left brow tine is nearly the same. Both racks have an upward angle to the main beams as well.

Have a deer that looks pretty similar to your 8 point at the end... I'll post in a minute

Last couple of card pulls have been pretty lousy. Curly showed up the other night and posed for a couple of good shots. His brows just keep growing!

Updating this one from my last post. I input the pictures from photobucket and then changed their location....don't do that.

Today's pull brought in a new face as well. Nothing giant but I'm leaning toward him being at least 3.5. Thoughts?

Sorry......the vision is a bit blurry tonight so I could be off, which is typical....but I think that NT at the top of the page is only 3.5. Give him another year(or two) and let him blow up. Definitely has the potential I believe.

New buck looks a year older IMO

Agreed with the NT being 3.5. Young deer with loads of potential. Will be tough to let walk if given the chance but I think I'll be able to knowing what may be in the years to come.
