Monster buck shot Monday Oct. 15 in extreme SE Jackson Co. Gross 198, net 192.

All I can say is, Wow!! I knew this area was due for another world class brute. Cograts to the successful hunter.
 
There you go Tony, that's 2 world class whitetails with the bow, and it's only the 3rd week of October. Just think what the rut will bring!

Congratulations to a very fortunate hunter and hats off to an outstanding Iowa whitetail.
 
I showed this photo to my brother-in-law. He thought it was very possible he had this deer @ 45 yrds Nov 20 of last year. It was 3 mile from where it was kill. Who knows... He killed a 164" out of the same tree 3 years earlier.
I seem to be getting farther away from a big one instead of closer. Lots of season to go, not to worry....
 
Now that, is a standard setter! Puts a whole new spin on little bucks...What a monster! Congradulations....
