More Buck Activity Info.

I was working in the barn last nite and heard some noise in the field next to me so I got the spotlight and watched a nice ten and an eight going at it for about ten minutes. They weren't all out serious but it was pretty intense at any rate.

I enjoyed watching two small six point bucks mix it up pretty good this morning. It started out looking like idle play, but ended up pretty heated. I'm still not seeing the bigger bucks like we usually do but know these next 7 days will begin to.

This may sound strange but I'll tell you anyway. I hunt two areas within 500 yds of each other and in one area bucks are seeking out the does. The strange thing is that in the other area, the does are still grouped up with their fawns and the bucks ignore them. Strange, huh.
