Northern WI Panfish Trip

Got back last night from what has now become an annual trip up by St. Croix Falls for panfish. Had a blast caught and released more big bluegills than should be allowed and kept a bunch to munch on too. The perch and crappies were slower this year than last but a good time was had.
Here is one with the beverage of choice!

Fun to catch, fun to eat...but a pain to clean that many fish. I always get poked by them damn anal fin spines.

I usually use them for bait, but I don't usually catch'em that big.

Must have been a ton of fun.
