I usually broadcast my brassica seed but am wondering if anyone has had success using a grain drill? It seems like my broadcasted plots are heavy in some areas but spotty in others. Just wondering if I would get better coverage with a drill

You would definitely get more even distribution of your seed, but make sure you don't plant it to deep! Your brassicas won't require hardly any seed to soil contact. 1/8" inch is great, 1/4' max :way:

I broadcast mine this year and they are booming. All I did was roll them when I was done. The few bare spots that I have I will cover seed with Oats this week! :way:

Yes that's what many of them were originally designed for.
