Question on Deer

By no means am I an expert on deer, but I have a question for some of you on possible future growth of a buck. Maybe this is typical of a young deer, maybe hes got some bad genetics. Just wondering if this is a deer I should try to eliminate from my hear come gun season or let him grow a couple years.

Who knows. Could be a 220 inch high and tight buck in 4 years, too young to tell.

Studies have been done to prove a deer won't show any potential until 3.5 and sometimes later. It's also impossible to alter genetics in a free range herd by hunting practices.
