Questions for blind sow

First, my father is disabled and has a permit to use a crossbow during the regular archery season. I am unsure of the minimum length of arrow that you can use and do crossbows fit into this length restriction.

Second, what is the minimum draw or arrow weight for the archery season. I know it was 45 pounds when I first got into archery 15 years ago. None of this infor. is on the DNR's web sight.

Thanks

The only restriction on crossbows is that the broadhead must have three blades.

The newly adopted DNR bow/arrow/broadhead definitions state that:

1. The bow must be at least 30" (axle to axle measurement).

2. The arrow must be at least 20" in length
and weight a minimum of 300 grains.

3. The broadhead must be at least 7/8" in
diameter and weight no less than 70
grains.

I hope this answers your questions.

Thanks.
Could the 20" minimum arrow length be applied to a crossbow bolt also. Illinois isn't worded like this but is applied to the bolts too. I just want to be 100% clear. Thanks again
