Revenge

Saw the neatest thing last night. Just at dusk an owl started chasing squirrels. He would land in the tree right next to the squirrel but not hit it. This happened three times to the same squirrel. He even ran on the ground right under the owl. The owl flew off and I thought the show was over. The squirrel climbed up a tree to chase around two other squirrels. Out of the corner of my eye I saw the owl fly back into the tree where the squirrels were chasing each other. It was so dark now that I couldn't see what happened for sure, but I thougt I saw him swoop and then a squirrel started "screaming". One less squirrel to rustle the leaves and make me anxious.

The owl is the instrument of my revenge.

Had one of those little suckers chewing on the rope for my ladder stand support last night. He planned his attack to coincide with two deer under my stand so I couldn't take him out. Next time he shows he's mine! Maggs.
