No flooded basement BUT, I started a house siding project on the 11th and this weather pattern SUCKS. No rain for six weeks and now every other day.

Driving through SW WI yesterday and they had just the tassles sticking out of the water on some cornfields. Lots of roads closed too. Made for a long trip.

our toilet paper is wet this morning. Leak right through the ceiling right on it. talk about a dissappointment.

Nothing at Home. But Double A has about 10 spots leaking through the roof in my leased building. Kind of Nice though, Not many archery shops have that true outdoor feeling where you can hear rain drops off to the side!

Your lucky your not up by me or just north of me. 45 minutes north of me got over 15" of rain in last two days. Lots of mud slides and flooded towns.

10 people died up here...so it could be worse than a flooded basement! More rain coming.

I was at Brooklyn MI for the NASCAR race...I think it's still raining. It started Saturday night and hasn't stopped yet.

Missin that race, isn't a very big deal knowing that people died from it elsewhere.

[/ QUOTE ] That sucks, my sump pump went out around the 4th of july when we had 6". Makes for a long night. I was lucky not to have any damage though.

Welcome to my ENTIRE May and June. Rained 40 days straight here. Anybody build a shop in their back yard entirely in the rain?(Except the roofing and painting.) The skys cleared for a few hours on those days. Its nice and warm and dry now.

our farm in Clayton/Allamakee county has a pretty good sized creek running through it, it dumps into the yellow river just off our property and that hits the Miss a mile downstream. So it sees a lot of water. 3 weeks or so ago when we got 8 inches the place looked like the moon from all the water rushing down. we lost 20' into one of our clover fields from the bank washing out.

Last week we got 4-5"..the place we redirected the creek blew out and the roads got wrecked again. we got about 9" at our house 15 miles away saturday nite. im goin down tomorrow to inspect it, i have a feeling im going to be prtty upset tomorrow. one of my cuddebacks was near the creek, i think i may have lost it.

I think you will be upset. The yellow was 2 and 3 hundred yards wide when I was down there the other day. Most fields down there had a couple feet of water going through them.

im happy to report....that......
my basement got water in it again last night....
and there is an expected 4-5 inches tonight....
LOVE IT!
