I'm surprised I havent seen anything posted here or any pages/podcasts about the screw worm. Hopefully it gets under control down there in TX.

I dont see them making it this far north unless transported in live infected animals from what I have read. Sounds like it could be devastating for the deer herd in the south if it gets out of control. Hopefully they get the sterile fly program ramped up quickly.
 
Dr. Deer or Grant Woods, don't recall which, had a great video on this and how devastating it was to the population 60 years ago. I can't seem to find it now but I will keep looking. I am struggling to understand just what in the heck our tax dollars are funding. They know how to bring this under control but failed to do so.
