Some Stupidity

Since its a little slow before the shed season takes off I thought I would start a stupidity thread.
I'll start it off.

3 years ago the old man and I were walking one of our cedar thickets after a fresh snow. I was walking through the thicket and reached the end and there was a decent buck about 40 yards out broadside. I raised my (brand new) 12 gauge remington and took the shot. That is when I felt a sharp pain in my leg. I looked back at my gun and noticed that about 1-2 inches of the barrel was gone. That part of the barrel came back and hit me in the leg. It went through my bibs and jeans giving me a huge bruise but never entering my leg.
Turns out I had snow from one of cedar tree branches get in my barrel and I didn't notice it.

This was one of those freak accidents that could have turned out for the worst.

I still have the gun on a rack as a reminder to be always aware of my surroundings.
Anyone else have any other stupidity stories they would like to share?
