Whats everyone think the best spotting scope for your money is? Preferably light weight since I will be using it to spot and stalk mullies.
 
Look at the Vortex line. Great glass for the money. I have a Nomad with a 65mm objectivelens (16-44x zoom, I think) and its great. Spend as much as you can afford and you won't regret it. You probably won't need an 80mm objective. You can see forever with them, but they get heavy.
