Stalked in picked cornfield

I left my treestand early Sunday afternoon because I was tired of being rocked and rolled by the wind. On my way out, I peeked into a swale in a picked cornfield and saw this buck feeding 70 yards away. I got on my hands and knees and started crawling to get into position for a shot using the wind to cover the noise I was making. There was a powerline pole between me and the buck and I worked my way up to it. When I got there I had a 30 yard shot. This buck has 7 1/4" and 8 1/4" brow tines.

very nice buck, just goes to show one needs to get aggressive now and then when hunting whitetails, way to go........

Great Job !!!!

I have never been skilled enough or maybe had everything work my way on a stalk. I think a stalk is the ultimate way to pursue the animal.

Great Job, nice deer.
