HAS ANYBODY USED THE TECOMATE MONSTER MIX? I AM GONNA PUT 3-4 ACRES OF THIS STUFF IN ALONG WITH ALFALFA AND CORN AND SOME SOYBEAN PLOTS. JUST WONDERING IF ANYONE HAS HAD GOOD LUCK WITH THE MONSTER MIX
 
I'm going to start our foodplots this weekend. I'm not using Tecomate but have heard good things about it. We hunt 4 miles north of Turin. Drop me a PM and we can discuss it further.
 
I won a couple bags last year. Planted one, end of August or so- it germinated really well but then it got too dry to really put out much last fall. Looked like it was starting ok this spring and I frost seeded over it. Haven't been back to look in the last 3 weeks, dying to get there.
I usually mix my own seed as I know what I want but "big name" seed is really an easy way to get started.

I haven't yet but I'll be trying some along with other mixes for comparison.

As commercial mixes go it appears to have "the right stuff" at a fair price.

Let us know how yours turns out and check the clover thread to see how it stacks up at my place.
