I went with Headgear and his troup to see a sneak preview of The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe tonight and all I can say is WOW!

[/ QUOTE ] Why would you be ready to rip on me? What brought that on, I asked if religious threads were allowed on here. Since I haven't read anything about if they were and it seems to me nobody starts them then maybe they aren't allowed. Maybe I'm wrong for asking? Also I've seen more crap start over religious and political threads than everything else combined. I thought the movie in question was religion related since it was said it was recommended by the church, so I asked. There are two things you can't ever change and it's someones religious beliefs and political stance. Just my opinion. BTW I won't tell anyone on here what either of mine are because they're mine period.

ScottIC is correct. Aslyn, the Lion, represents Christ. He willing gives himself as a blood sacrafice,is mocked and beaten, then dies at the hands of the White Witch who is the evil character. He later comes back to life. The Witch presents herself as a Queen, she is wicked and deceitful, obviously the Satan figure. It also goes without saying that the female would be SATAN!!!! Duh!
Or you could just watch it and see the classic good vs. evil story.
Either way, it's a great movie with super CG and special effects. The kids in the movie did a great job, especially the the little girl who played Lucy. Oh, and Phillip the talking horse was way better than Mr.Ed.
