too late to have a food plot?

I have been wondering if it would be too late to make a spring food plot. I have one but I wanted one on another farm. The food plot would be about a half a acre.

Not too late for anything yet. What and how will dictate. Even if no ground has been worked you can spray and no till. Plenty of time for plots of beans, sorghum, corn, etc.

Waste no time getting completed as warm dry weather is not far away. Remember if you miss this window you still can do some fall plantings!

You might be glad you waited anyway...woke up to a nice frost the other morning

Won't hurt the corn but my soys might of got "nipped in the bud"

Way it's been raining it's been hard to get anything done anyway.

Late (June) planted soybeans are very attractive to deer. You do need a little cooperation from the weather but the plot is ready to sow rye in the fall.

I was able to buy RR soybean seed that was leftover from last year for $15 a bag!

Just a thought...might ck with your local seed dealers.
I'm sure going to give the soy/rye combo a shot this fall!
