Bison On The Henry Mountains

The number of bison on the <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com

<O:pIs moving more bison from the <ST1:p<st1:placeName w:st="on">Henry</st1:placeName> <st1:placeName w:st="on">Mountains</st1:placeName></ST1:pl to the Book Cliffs the answer? Or should the state offer more hunting permits?

Those are the questions Division of Wildlife Resources biologists will seek input about at two public meetings. The meetings will be held next Monday and Tuesday in <ST1:pGreen River and Vernal.

Once you’ve read the proposals, you can share your thoughts and ideas one of two ways:

Two Regional Advisory Council meetings will be held in <ST1:pGreen River </ST1:pand Vernal. Citizens representing the RACs will take the input received at the meetings to the Utah Wildlife Board when it meets in <st1:City w:st="on"><ST1:pSalt Lake City </st1:City>on Oct. 1.
