trophy rock mineral lick

Awhile back I asked about mineral licks and Trophy rock was recommended.
I bought one at Cabelas in Prairie.

Today Jon and I went to the field to check how it was doing.
It has been there 3 weeks.

when I saw that I thought, those pigs, don't they know that rock is expensive?

I guess I will have to shoot a few to teach them a lesson !!

why the tub? if you put it out on the ground, won't some of the minerals leach out into the soil, and continue to draw deer?
