So I thought it would be a good idea to compile some food sources of the turkey. I would start us off but really don't know what they eat. How about corn

Turkey have a wide range of plants and animals they eat including baby quail (JUST KIDDING ON THE QUAIL!). Check inside the crop next time you harvest a bird then add to this thread. Grass, clover, grain and insects are common.
 
Acorns, beachnuts, blackberries, wild grapes, snails, insect larvae, millipedes, worms, and don't forget the almighty grasshopper.

Be careful Muddy...they may eat

I forgot to add something funny I have witnessed on a regular basis. There are a couple of cattle feed lots in the area that turkeys search for "pass through" corn.

I call this being on the hot lunch program!!!

Dandelions. I shot a Tom last year with a craw full of Dandelion heads.
