who uses them? wht do you think of them? how do they compare to the ear muff ones?? asking this question for a friend of mine. thanks.

Muddy, I'm sure its for "a friend". Just like that "friend" of yours with just a "little rash".

Seriously though, I wouldn't waste the money. I tried one out and I thought it amplified all sounds, just making it harder to differentiate them. It amplifies the sounds of all animals, making that treerat sound like an elephant.

I've got quite a bit of hearing loss, hoped these would help. Had a Walker's game ear II, ended up selling it because I didn't think it was helping me locate sounds. May have been a different story with the muffs or if I had one for each ear. One more thing with batteries.
