Well where did Winter go? Heck where did Spring go? 80' tomarrow? Same old weather pattern. A NW flow. Storm systems with moisture stayingsouth from St Louis to New York. March will go out with almost 0 precip for most of Iowa. Now I know,,I am the chicken little about moisture. Always saying drought. I also know the land around me is very soggy at this time, and fields need to dry out or planting. That being said,,this pattern does not send any moisture up into the Corn Belt. Most of the West is in a Drought at this time. It could turn around fast like last Spring but it is sticking in there now. Dry NW flow across Iowa.Minn,Dakotas. as far as models can see.

I am not the only "Chicken Little", noticing the dry pattern. If you go to the Quad Cities Weather Service site, to the Discussion page, they talk about the dry conditions in their area and even use the word,"Drought".
