Indian Summer, back to old Trough East-Ridge West setup: That has dominated the weather pattern,,more or less for the past 5 yrs. Is main reason Calif-is burning up. Mild days-bugs-no frost-for Iowa. Where I came fromhowever,east-in the trough. Chilly days and frosty nights!

I can hear you all, Hey, if you like it so much where you came from,,,go back. I did enjoy the quicker cold up there, but the hunting,,well pretty much ,,stunk,,. Plus I married an Iowa girl!
