How is the process going?

I start from 7 weeks, and it makes the process less frustrating. When you tell your dog to come blow the whistle (sequence you want I use tweet tweet tweet...) when he comes give him a high valued treat.......when you tell him to sit blow the whistle once (tweeeeet) and give him a high value...

I dont use a shock caller when searching for sheds, he is whistle trained....if i have defiant issues...i will use it once in a while.....its never on when the antler is being used.

One thing that has helped my dog is a bird launcher....remote...i place the antler in the launcher, spray it down with scent killer (the launcher) and when he picks up smell i will launch shed. It stimulates the natural instinct of lab....
