I've talked to quite a few.......

Garden Grove area. Numbers way down from normal years. EHD claimed a few and the local poachers hammered the big ones pretty hard this year. Hoping the DNR gets all of them locked up. I believe poaching is way worse than everyone realizes.

    Which Does to shoot?

We target the oldest/biggest we see when doe hunting. We always try to fill our doe tags early in the season before the rut. I know that you can't control nature or your herd, but if you shoot does late in the season you can almost guarantee that they have already been bred. Late season doe...

10 year old is ruined for life

My 10 year old son tagged his 1st buck last weekend. Well I think he will be spending a lot of hours of hunting trying to top this one. This giant buck has been on trail camera all summer long. When we went out Saturday afternoon we were looking to harvest a doe and have a good time together. I...

    Views from the stand 2018-19

Guess my 9 year old is now a trophy hunter. Youth season sit overlooking beans, turnips and clover. 140" 5 year old 8pt wasn't big enough.... Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk

    Wireless Trail Cameras

I bought mine from Amazon for $290.00. I just looked and see that they are $350.00. They usually go on sale a few times per year.

    Wireless Trail Cameras

Bushnell Trophy Cam HD Agressor 14MP Wireless Trail Camera I run these in several different counties (Decatur, Marshall & Hardin) and love them. They work off the AT&T network so it doesn't matter what cell service you have for your phone. 4 different picture packages to choose from but I use...

Alright guys, Who's s with me, November 19th, and still grinding this season out

Still at it as well... I've been chasing the same buck for 3 years now. It is getting a little frustrating hunting this buck. I've had him inside 100 yards 3 times this year. Now he has vanished. Last time I saw him he was limping really bad on back left leg. Not sure what is up with him but...

    Dooped

That really sucks about your Gila hunt! I've hunted that unit 2 times with 1 hunt ending up with a nice 315" 6x6 bull. We had some of the same outfitter experiences that you did. We would get up in the am, go out for an hour or so, head back to the truck just when the bulls started bugling good...

Built 2 New Blinds , What yall think

Very nice looking blinds! If someone is looking to do the same and are looking for some really good windows, I would suggest deer view windows. We have built several blinds and always use deer view windows with great success. We can usually get ours built for around $650.00-$700.00 (minus...

    Blind chair

I have tried almost all of them, but the Redneck portable hunting chair is by far the best one I have found. Very comfortable and adjustable legs. Nice carrying strap too.
